This course aims to provide learners with an insight into dental nursing and the dental profession, providing them with basic understanding of dentistry and the role of the dental nurse.

- Working in a Dental Team
- Health & Safety
- Infection Control
- Radiography
- Record Keeping and Surgery Routine
- Medical Emergencies
Who is it for?
This one day course is ideal for someone who is enrolled on a dental nurses training course, which has not yet begun, and provides an appropriate induction to dental nursing so you can start work in the interim.
The course may also be appropriate for dental nurses wanting a CPD update or nurses returning to practice after time off from nursing. It would also be suitable for someone who is considering a career in dental nursing and would like a better understanding of what the job involves.
Duration: One day (5 hours)
CPD Hours: 6 hours verifiable
Assessment and Certification
This course is not assessed but a certificate of attendance will be provided on completion of the course.
